Abstract:

Contains the typescripts of short stories many of which appeared in the WPA and Sutro Library sponsored publication "Golden Mountain: Chinese Tales Told in California." The stories were gathered by Jon Lee in San Francisco's Chinatown in Chinese and translated into English. Only the English versions exist here. Also includes Lee's diary from his service during WWII, with many photographs included. Diary is in a specially published diary by the Hillair Publishing Company for the war titled "Military Secrets".
